About Me

Welcome to my page! I'm Savannah Sonaty, and I'm thrilled to be part of the Tri-Township family as a fourth grade teacher.

My journey in education began at Purdue Northwest, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education in 2019. Since then, I've had the privilege of teaching in various capacities, starting with high school PE and Health before finding my calling in first grade.

During my time in the classroom, I've had the opportunity to explore different teaching approaches and engage with a diverse range of students. From integrating STEM education for high-ability learners to coaching Girls on the Run and running an after-school tutoring program, I've always sought to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Joining the Tri-Township team in 2022 has been a highlight of my career. I've been fortunate to work alongside dedicated colleagues and passionate students who inspire me every day. Together, we've embarked on a journey of learning and growth that I'm truly grateful for.

When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me exploring the outdoors, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or curled up with a good book. I believe in the power of lifelong learning and strive to instill that same curiosity and love for learning in my students.

I'm excited for the adventures that lie ahead this school year and look forward to partnering with you to make it the best one yet!

Warm regards,

Savannah Sonaty
